Affiliate Elites - Installation Guide

Thank you for purchasing Affiliate Elites! This guide will walk you through the installation process in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Server Requirements

• PHP Version: 7.4 or higher (recommended: 8.0+)
• Database: MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.2+
• Extensions: PDO, cURL, Mbstring
• Web Server: Apache (with mod_rewrite) or Nginx
• Permissions: All directories writable - 0755 and all files - 0644

Step 2: Upload Files

Unzip the downloaded package and upload the contents of the app folder to your domain root (e.g., public_html).

Step 3: Create a Database

Use your hosting panel to create a database, user, and assign privileges. Save the credentials for the next step.

Step 4: Run the Installer

Visit http://yourdomain.com/public/install.php and fill in:

• Database Host (usually localhost)
• Database Name, Username, Password
• License Code (Envato purchase code)
• Email Address

License Code: Found in your purchase email or Envato account under “License certificate & purchase code”.

Step 5: Finalize Installation

After success, delete install.php and affiliate_structure.sql from /public.

Login at http://yourdomain.com/admin/index.php with:

• Username: admin
• Password: 12345678

Change the default password immediately.

Troubleshooting

• Config not writable: Ensure config/ exists and has 0755 permissions.
• DB connection failed: Check credentials and privileges.
• License validation failed: Re-run installer after cleaning DB and config files.
